What is mind control? It is a method for persuasion. However, despite the common misconception, it is not a quick trick that you can use to get instant result. Influencing someone to do something takes time, effort and planning.
At this point, you are certainly asking yourself why you need to plan the steps you need to take. The simple answer is for success. When you have a plan for action, it will be easier for you to come up with the right patterns to influence the person. Furthermore, you will be able to provide for objections.
Basically, a plan allows you to map your actions in your mind so that you can reach the set goal. You will be able to focus on the person you want to influence completely while carrying out your plan. This will make the persuasion even more powerful.
The next logical question is how to plan the mind control process. The answer is using basic logic. You have action X that you want the person to take. What will motivate him to take this action? A certain benefit or a set of benefits.
Now you know how to plan the first stage of the mind control process. You have to present the person the benefits of doing what you want. The idea here is not simply to say, “You will get benefits A, B and C.”
There are a lot of techniques that you can use to present the benefits, so you should use as many as possible. Present the straightforward benefits as well as the emotional benefits the person will get. For instance, “Getting a benefit A will make you feel happy.”
Now you have to ask yourself what will motivate the person not to do what you want. It is really important for you to do this before you get to apply mind control on him.
By figuring out the reasons why the person should not do what you want, you will have a list of possible objections he can make. This will allow you to inoculate them before they are being made. The simple technique which you can use to do this is reframing.
Let’s say that you want to make your friend jog with you, but it has just stopped raining outside. His objection is that his feet will get wet when jogging outdoors
